How To Get Rid Of A Big Zit Overnight With Single Ingredients That Cost Zilch.}

Submitted by: Nuruzzaman Mohammed

Desperate to know how to get rid of a big zit overnight? Maybe tomorrows a big day for you a party, a get-together, a job interview, a date. And you need to wipe out that pesky little bugger fast. Or you just dont want to go out with a huge lump on your face. Makeup is ideal but only if you can reduce the zit to minimal size, first.

There are many easy options for this. The first, without a doubt, is an overnight acne treatment preferably containing benzoyl peroxide as its active ingredient. If benzoyl peroxide doesnt suit you, try one containing salicylic acid which is milder, but still effective. For further efficacy, you could first cleanse your face with a gentle anti-acne facewash, then apply the overnight formula on your zits before going to bed, and then wash it off in the morning.

However, you can still get similar (or even better!) results of an overnight acne treatment using simple ingredients lying around the house. They help bring a massive reduction to pimple size and redness, and best of all, they cost zero cuz you dont have to pay extra to use them as an acne-fighter.

Here are some of the most effective:

1. Toothpaste: No, youre not reading wrong. Plenty of people have used toothpaste as an overnight acne treatment, with amazing results. Just make sure you use the white paste kind not the gel. And first test it out to see if it causes any irritation or not. It usually wont unless your skin is super-sensitive.

2. Baking soda: Another excellent option. Make a paste with soda bicarb and water, apply it on the spots, then go to bedand wake up to a fresher face. Just make sure youre using baking sodanot baking powder! And yes, remember to test it for irritation, first.

3. Lemon juice: With its astringent action, lemon juice is very effective at drying out your pimples quickly. Be careful, though it can be a little too drying. To combat this apply a light, non-comedogenic moisturizer after using the lemon juice. A few drops of sweet almond oil works great for this (yesI know its an oilbut unlike other oils its non-sticky, doesnt block pores or cause/aggravate acneand it fades out scars!).

4. Manuka honey: Another excellent choice! This is pricier than the other ingredients but so worth it! With its proven antiseptic, anti-bacterial properties, it not only helps clear out pimples but is also effective at healing cuts and scrapes, and preventing the onset of topical infections. Its also great for ingestion: it helps heal serious digestive disorders, ulcers, impaired bowel movement, internal infections, purifies blood and gives your complexion a healthy glow. Lemon juice and honey are often used together for double benefit.

5. Ice: The cheapest and quickest solution of all! Ice is soooo good for your skin

It:

Reduces pimple swelling and irritation literally overnight

Closes your pores

Helps fade marks

Can be used before your makeup routine (after cleansing) for a better blend and longer staying power.

As an added advantage.
